Bloo Lagoon Tours

Each villa comes furnished with a book where you can browse a selection of topics including tours. Here is a summary:

Cultural Tours

At Bloo Lagoon we want our guests to experience the unique culture and rich history of East Bali. Our staff will assist you in organizing a tour to fit your interests: the traditional village of Tenganan with its special double ikat textiles, the mother temple at Besakih on the foothills of imposing Mount Agung, the elegant water palaces at Tirtagangga and Ujung, built by the kings of the Karangasem Regency and many more captivating places.

Trekking and mountain biking

Mount Batur is one of the main volcanoes in Bali and the preferred one to explore. You can hike with an experienced guide or bike down while taking in the amazing views.

Snorkeling and fishing

Just a walk down to the public Blue Lagoon beach and you can discover an amazing underwater world full of activity and colour. Or take our small "jukung" (traditional fishing boat) and snorkel further out in the blue and transparent waters and beautiful coral.

Fun for kids

Kite flying is a tradition in Bali; there is even a kite festival in Sanur every July. Our head gardener is an expert at teaching children how to make kites out of bamboo.
There is also an offerings making class which grown ups also enjoy. From simple baskets to very elaborate "canang" these objects are offered by the Balinese people to their gods every day.
We highly recommend a visit to the Bali Safari Park, both fun and educational for all ages, and its spectacular Bali Agung show.
On the way to Ubud, the Mask and Puppet Museum is a delight for all ages.
